When I tried again, it said that my license had already been used, so could not be used again. As it was working, the steinberg download assistant became unresponsive, so I had to close it. I then successfully entered my activation code. I opened the download assistant and put in my download access code. I have downloaded the update installer, the application installer and the Steinberg Download Assistant. The current version at the time of writing is version 3.2.20. Dorico exists within the ecosystem of Steinberg applications, and it makes sense for there to be shared utilities and functions that are used by all Steinberg applications, though I agree it would be preferable for those functions to be consolidated more than they are at the moment.
